A guide for families abroad
A Russian-language memoir book with photos and a loved one's voice
Memuaria helps a parent or relative tell their own story, while family members can take part from different countries.
Memuaria helps families create a memoir book with photographs and original voice recordings. A person answers life-story questions in text or by voice. Their answers become a book, and QR codes open the saved voice recordings. The digital edition costs 3 500 ₽; the package with a printed and digital book costs 12 900 ₽. Shipping is charged separately and confirmed for the recipient's address. The site interface is in Russian; questions, voice transcription and editing support Russian and English.
How a family book is created
Choose the person whose story you want to keep and discuss whether they would enjoy taking part. They can answer one question at a time, using text or voice. Family members can help identify photographs and suggest questions. There is no need to arrange one long interview across several time zones.
The author chooses which stories to include and who may read them. Before printing, the contents and layout need to be reviewed. A book can include everyday experiences, family recipes, work, friendships or life before a move abroad.
A memoir book and a photo book serve different needs
A photo book focuses on arranging pictures. Memuaria focuses on a person's own stories, with photographs providing context. Choose it when you want to keep the words behind a picture: who was there, what happened and why it mattered.
When the author records answers by voice, QR links in the book let readers hear those original recordings. A child can read a story and listen to their parent's own words and intonation.
Families in Israel, the United States and Germany
The author, purchaser and readers may live in different countries. You can work on the stories online, while a printed copy can be intended for a family member in Israel, the United States, Germany or another country.
Memuaria offers worldwide delivery. Availability, price and shipping time are checked for the full recipient address. Printing starts after the content and layout are ready. If you are planning a holiday gift, ask the team about the destination in advance. The digital edition is available without parcel shipping.
